Webb22 maj 2012 · The start cord on our 9.9, 4 strok merc kicker will not pull. It seems to be locked up, just won't pull. I seem to recall us having this problem before, but paid to have it diagnoised. Trying to save money and do it ourselves this time. I realize it could be a thousand things, but if anyone could tthrow any ideas out there, we would appreciate it. WebbOutboard Motors. Removed the plugs. See a good spark when I pull. plugs are clean, no water, not fowled. I cleaned them. Good compression with my finger against the plug hole. sucks at the carb. I feel exhaust at the exhaust port.

Webb7 feb. 2024 · Route start switch leads through hole in bracket. Install nut on switch leads and hand tighten. Gently tighten nut with wrench. Insert leads through grommet in port side of bracket. Route leads through grommet into port side of control panel. Prying grommet from panel first allows for easier installation.
